About the role
Dunham House is an accredited treatment center and residential Life Skills Development program helping individuals rebuild meaningful lives through care focused on addiction, mental health, and dual diagnosis. The Clinical Director is responsible for the clinical excellence, strategic expansion, and operational leadership of Dunham House’s residential programming in the Eastern Townships and its growing outpatient services in Montreal.
This is a high-impact leadership role that balances clinical supervision with business acumen. Operating with a high level of autonomy, the Clinical Director oversees a multidisciplinary team—including a psychiatric nurse, consulting psychiatrist, and clinical associates—while fostering research partnerships and academic internships. You will ensure all services are evidence-based, compliant with accreditation standards, and seamlessly integrated to provide a continuous bridge of care between residential and outpatient settings.

We’re entering an exciting next chapter—and we’re looking for a Clinical Director to help lead it.
Your Role
This is a leadership role overseeing both our residential clinical program in the Eastern Townships and our growing outpatient services in Montreal.
You’ll help lead and supervise:
• Residential clinical programming
• Team leadership and supervision
• Mental health service expansion
• Research and higher academic partnerships
• Strategic growth initiatives
• Outpatient clinical oversight
This role requires someone who can balance clinical excellence, operational leadership, innovation, and business acumen.
What You’ll Do
• Lead clinical programming
• Supervise clinicians, associates and interns
• Ensure high-quality, evidence-based care
• Oversee clinical documentation, compliance, and accreditation standards
• Expand mental health services
• Support continuity of care between residential and outpatient programming
• Build partnerships with hospitals, CIUSSS networks, universities, and referral partners
• Help develop Dunham House into a learning and research hub
What We’re Looking For
• Minimum Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or related field
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Quebec
• Leadership experience in addiction, mental health, healthcare, or residential treatment
• Experience working with dual diagnosis populations
• Experience supervising teams
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Business acumen and growth mindset
• Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
